Religion I- The goal of this course is to develop our understanding and connection with God. We'll explore the Kingdom of Heaven in Matthew, identify how God works with the covenant people in Genesis, investigate the foundations of the nation of Israel, and comprehend the "good news" according to Paul as we ask the question, "what do you mean when you say 'God?'"
Religion II- The goal of this course is to develop our understanding and connection with The Church. We'll identify the gospel of peace in Luke, evaluate what made the early Christian Church so successful, outline how Israel's story speaks to the greater human struggle, and explore the qualities of Jesus that are uncovered in Revelation as we ask the question, "what is the future of The Church?"
Religion III- The goal of this course is to develop our understanding and connection with our world. We'll investigate the foundations of Christianity, investigate the foundations of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, analyze how faith applies to everyday life, and assess how Jesus shifts the understanding of "Messiah" in Mark as we ask the question, "what does it mean to be Christian in our world?"
Religion IV- The goal of this course is to develop our understanding and connection with the Bible. We'll outline the major themes of the Bible, apply Biblical interpretation tools to John's gospel, investigate what other religions value in their faith, and analyze how Biblical principles apply to passages on relationships as we ask the question, "how do we interpret the Bible well?"
Music Ministry- The goal of this course is to lead and shape the spiritual culture on campus through the artform of contemporary praise music. Students will develop their skills in audio engineering, recording, and their respective instruments, as they learn Biblical concepts of worship and spiritual gifts. Because space is limited, students will need to apply and a class fee will be added to their account.
